Templates to start faster than a blank board

Every template below is a real board layout you can copy into your own workspace — columns, sample cards, and structure included.

What a template includes

A template is a board layout with named columns and a few sample cards already placed in them. You open a finished structure, then replace the samples with your own work.

Some sample cards have due dates, so the calendar has dates on it from the first day. The sprint board also starts with a limit of 3 on In Progress. Every other column is open, and you can change the limit later.

Which layout to open

Product Launch is for the week you ship: a backlog, the work that has to move this week, what is in progress, and what is done. Freelance Client Tracker is for deliverables across clients, with a column for work that is waiting on a reply and due dates for reviews and invoices.

Sprint Board is for a small team moving work from the backlog through review. Content Calendar is for posts and campaigns, and the due dates read as the publishing schedule. Hiring Pipeline is for candidates, from a new application through screening, interview, offer, and hired.

After the board is created

When you create a board, choose one of these layouts or start from a blank board. The title and description are filled in from the template, and you can edit both before you save. The sample cards are copied onto the new board with the columns.

After that, the board is yours. Rename a column, add a card, assign someone, or set a due date. The same cards show on the board, in the list, and on the calendar.
