0Who this board is for
People who publish blog posts, social posts, and short campaigns use this board as the path from an idea to something that is live. Each piece of content is a card.
The sample cards are a launch announcement post, a social thread, and a customer story outline. Each one already has a due date, so the calendar opens with a few publish dates on it.
How the columns are set up
Ideas is where a piece starts. Drafting is the writing. Review is the pass from someone else. Scheduled is approved and waiting for its date. Published is live.
Move a card when the stage changes. The column is the status. The due date is the day you want it to go out.
Planning what goes out
Set the due date to the publish day. That date is what the calendar shows, so the month view reads as the schedule. Move the card to Scheduled once the draft is approved, and to Published after it is live.
The board shows the stage of each piece. The list shows every piece, whatever stage it is in. Comments on a card are the place for edits and the notes from review.
