1. Who operates the Service

KanoBoard is the operator of this product. This policy does not name a separate company or individual.

A contact address will be published here when one is available. Until then, you can manage your account data in Settings.

2. Account information

When you create an account we store your name, email address, and a hashed password. You may add an optional avatar. We do not use third-party sign-in providers.

3. Workspace content

We store the workspaces, boards, columns, cards, comments, checklists, attachments metadata, assignments, activity, and notifications you and your collaborators create. That content exists so the product can function.

4. Cookies

Essential cookies: kanban_access and kanban_refresh are httpOnly session cookies used to keep you signed in. kanban_cookie_consent stores your cookie preference. These are strictly necessary and are not gated behind the banner.

Optional cookies: none are set today. If you accept the optional category, no extra cookies load until we actually add them. You can change this later from Cookie settings.

5. Local storage

The Service stores your theme preference in the browser under kanban_app_theme. Access and refresh tokens are not stored in localStorage.

6. Sharing

Members of a workspace or board can see the boards and cards shared with them, including names of other members. Do not put secrets in cards you share.

7. Payments

Paid plans are billed through LemonSqueezy, which is the merchant of record. LemonSqueezy processes checkout, tax, invoices, and card details. KanoBoard stores subscription identifiers, plan, status, renewal dates, and a card brand and last four digits so we can show billing status. We do not store full card numbers.

We do not serve ads or load third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the current product.

8. Your choices

You can update your name and avatar in Settings. You can delete your account in Settings after confirming your email and password. Deletion is permanent: workspaces you own (and their boards and cards) are erased. Your membership in someone else’s workspace is removed; that workspace stays.

9. Marketing screenshots

Images on the public Home page are fictional captures of the product UI. They are not taken from your account.

10. Changes

If we add analytics or other processors, this policy will be updated. The date at the top of the page is the latest revision.
